Neurofeedback Experts

At Kaiser Neuromap Institute, we bring together a world-class team of neurofeedback specialists with decades of experience using EEG-based technology to treat a wide range of mental health and neurophysiological conditions. We help individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, attention deficit disorders, addictions, eating disorders, fibromyalgia, hoarding, autism, migraines, and more.

We are a leading center in Neurofeedback and Brain Mapping, applying clinically validated protocols such as Default Network Training (DNT). Our approach combines modern neuroscience with clinical expertise to foster neuroplasticity, emotional regulation, and long-term mental wellness.

Our vision is shaped by the leadership of our co-founders, Dr. David Kaiser and Dr. Sandra Beltran.

Dr. Kaiser, the creator of Default Network Training (DNT) Neurofeedback, has pioneered a technique that represents a major advancement in the field.

Working alongside him, Dr. Beltran contributes extensive clinical expertise and practical knowledge, playing a vital role in applying, supporting, and enhancing the method’s ongoing development. Her experience ensures that DNT neurofeedback continues to evolve in ways that directly benefit patients and advance clinical practice.

Together, Dr. Kaiser and Dr. Beltran carry forward a legacy of innovation, research, and patient-centered discovery at the Kaiser Neuromap Institute.

Dr. David Kaiser, MFA, PhD

Founder & Scientific Director

Dr. David Kaiser is the creator of Default Network Training (DNT) Neurofeedback, a groundbreaking advancement in brain-based therapies. With decades of experience in neuroscience and neurofeedback, Dr. Kaiser has dedicated his career to advancing brain health through research, innovation, and clinical practice. His work is deeply influenced by his mentor and advisor, Dr. Barry Sterman, the pioneering neuroscientist whose foundational studies in the 1960s established the basis for modern neurofeedback. Building on this legacy, Dr. Kaiser has refined and expanded neurofeedback into a method that bridges scientific research with real-world clinical results.
With over 35 years of experience in EEG-based neurotherapy, Dr. David Kaiser is an internationally recognized authority in the field of neurofeedback. He is the creator of the Default Network Training (DNT) protocol and developer of the Kaiser Neuromap software used for brain function assessment and neurotherapy.

Dr. Kaiser is a Fellow of the International Society for Neurofeedback and Research, former President of the Neurofeedback Division of the Association for Applied Psychophysiology and Biofeedback, and former Editor of the Journal of Neurotherapy. He has taught neuropsychology and neuroscience to over 5,000 students worldwide.

Dr. Sandra Beltrán, Co-Founder & Clinical Director

Co-founder of the Kaiser Neuromap Institute, Dr. Sandra Beltran brings a wealth of clinical knowledge and hands-on experience that is central to the Institute’s mission. Her expertise in patient care and applied neuroscience plays a vital role in ensuring that every advancement in DNT neurofeedback not only evolves as a scientific technique but also translates into meaningful, effective treatment for those seeking better brain health. Dr. Beltran’s contributions are key in guiding the Institute’s growth, supporting innovation, and ensuring that patient outcomes remain at the heart of every development.

In her private practice, she became a specialist in eating disorders and treated mood and anxiety disorders using evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). She served as Colombia’s representative in Bariatric Psychology and was a featured expert in various national media articles on obesity, eating disorders, and emotional health.

She has delivered lectures on eating disorders, trained healthcare professionals in promoting mental wellness, and led workshops in schools, universities, medical centers, integrative health facilities, and hospitals.

In 2016, Dr. Beltrán became certified in EEG Neurofeedback and Neurotherapy by the American Neurotherapy Association, specializing in Default Network Training. In 2017, she co-founded Kaiser Neuromap Institute as Clinical Director, where she continues to treat patients with a highly personalized, ethical, and compassionate approach.

Originally from Colombia, Dr. Beltrán has resided in the United States since her neurotherapy training. Her multicultural background gives her a unique perspective on cultural differences, and she provides neurofeedback sessions in both English and Spanish. She is also credentialed to teach Kaiser DNT Neurofeedback.
