Biofeedback

What is biofeedback?

Biofeedback or bio-feedback is a procedure that allows the patient to learn to voluntarily control the functions that the body performs automatically, with the aim of increasing awareness and self-control over these.

How it is performed?

The first stage of the procedure with biofeedback is to record the physiological activity of the person, such as heart rate, blood pressure or sweating. This record is analyzed through software, which shows the person an image that works as a reward or inhibition, and that through repetition, is constituted as a training for the body. The heart rate (emwave) and the harmonization of electrical activity (Alpha Stim) are used as measurement techniques to measure the response of the autonomic and central nervous system.
